The BFA Has To Wake Up!

The game between the Zebras and New Zealand has come and gone. It was surrounded by controversy before it started and the week before the game, the venue, University of Botswana's sports stadium was still undergoing renovation and the turf had not yet been completely laid.

Infact, on the day of the game, the turf was still being compacted by grounds men. This does not augur well for the image of this country when we host international visitors like we were doing, the New Zealanders.

In recent days, the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) has been absolving the Botswana Football Association (BFA) from the 'mess' that surrounded the upgrading of UB Stadium.
