Take care winter is here

Thousands of families do not have proper dwellings other than makeshift structures made of cardboard boxes, metal strips, logs and plastics of different shapes and colours. To these families, winter brings long cold and unbearable nights. While some choose to stay in makeshift huts, others sleep in dark alleys and on pavements where they can be shielded from the cold.

Inadequate accommodation is not the only problem that the poor are faced with. Often, they do not even have enough blankets to keep them warm nor can they afford a warm breakfast or dinner.
