Suspend BCL Mine operations

The rhetoric on the BCL Mine’s Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) policy is not reflective of what is happening on the ground, let alone underground.

If the lives of the workers at the mine do come first, then safety, health and the environment have to be in the forefront of the mine’s agenda.  The nation is weary of news from the copper nickel town of Selebi-Phikwe reporting of accidents at the BCL Mine.

These accidents have been claiming an unnecessary number of lives over the years.
