We started waxing lyrical when we heard the Minister of Transport and Communications, Frank Ramsden, tell Parliament that new airlines would start operating from Botswana while others had expressed a desire to start operating from our country as early as this year.
We know that Ramsden is a politician and politicians have a way of raising people's hopes. Infact, a similar promise was made before, but it just has to be true this time around. We have hope because there is no mention of the notorious 'pipeline.'
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
