The chairman of the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA), David Magang has painted what amounted to a bleak future for the agency in its 2006/2007 annual report.

We learn that the situation is so bad that CEDA can barely make it to the next financial year, end March 2008.

Fortunately for the CEDA annual report, it identifies some of the problems that have brought about this sorry state of affairs. Among these, are the shutting out of local products (goods and services) from the lucrative government market, and the cheap imports that are flooding the local market.
