Do soccer coaches deserve the boot?

This space is generally reserved for issues of national concern. Without fear or favour we try to force contentious issues on to a national discourse.

This time around we want to talk about fair labour practices in sport in general and football in particular.

The number of coaches sacked by football teams in the country is sickening, to say the least. Lobatse's glamour boys, the Gunners, parted ways with Assistant Coach Innocent Morapedi, Tasc of Francistown gave Seth Moleofhi the boot, Gabane Santos sacked Major David Bright, while Township Rollers kicked out Madinda Ndlovhu. The list is endless.
