Calling attention on abusive Teachers

We all want our children to go to school, get educated and get a better life than us.

Every morning, we see our little boys and girls happily run off to school, their dreams of becoming a doctor, an architect, a lawyer, an engineer or a nurse, looking far away. But we know that these dreams shall come to pass one day.

However, as we have seen with Thato and Tlhompho, sometimes those dreams can be cut short or altered by the very people who are tasked with nurturing them - teachers. The two girls' cases are particularly shocking because years after the madness that rendered them disabled was visited upon them by their teachers, not one official from the Ministry of Education has provided their families with information about what government was doing to bring the perpetrators to book.
