BFA should respect the Zebras

There was a familiar problem in the Zebras camp on Wednesday as players downed tools over unpaid allowances and saw the team leave very late at night for South Africa.

The Zebras are due to play Zambia in the COSAFA Cup quarterfinal on Saturday. Reports were that Botswana Football Association (BFA) was involved in frantic efforts to get the team to travel after players demanded outstanding allowances.

This issue is always the main camapign tool of BFA president. The past presidents such as Dikgang Makgalemele, David Fani and Tebogo Sebego, all promised to nip the problem in the bud without any success. It has now cropped up during the president of Maclean Letshwiti and it remains to be seem how he will tackle the problem.
