All is well that ends well

Although all the police reports are not complete, the general indication is that the Easter holidays have generally been quieter and without major incidents. It is during holidays such as these one that we experience mishaps like road accidents and theft, robberies and other violent crimes.

Various police stations across the country are reporting a quieter Easter, which is very positive. Credit must go to the people who we presume must have been vigilant on the roads. We could not remain impervious to the precious lives that we lost on our roads. The rate of death on our roads during holidays has been very alarming and we just had to say enough at some point.

Of course we are aware that people including our ever vigilant police officers and officials of the department of transport and other organisations such as MVA and KBL have over the years made it a point that every holiday they start a roadside crusade along major highways to educate the public on safe ways of driving and travel.
