Having to deal with families, bridesmaids and bridegrooms, catering and venues will drive anyone off the edge. Some people have chosen to take the stress, at least some, of the wedding off the couples and arrange the wedding.

That is what Thulaganyo Nyathi, known to friends as 'Thuli', decided to do. Thuli says that wedding planning is her calling. She is the director of ZIMRI (PTY) LTD, an events management company in Francistown. Thuli told Mmegi that ZIMRI is designed to be an events management company but she has leaned on wedding planning. Wedding planning is a new market in Botswana and one has to love it to do it well, Thuli says. "It is my passion. I have always had a thing for planning events. I have loved weddings since I was a child. When I was young I could plan a play wedding to a point where it seemed real," she said.
