Tourists-focused mall opens in Maun

Maun: A P5 million mini-shopping mall, Penstone Plaza, which mainly targets tourists has opened up in Maun.

The mall, which offers a variety of shopping facilities all for the shopping convenience of tourists, was officially opened last week by North West District Council Chairman, Tebogo Bethia. Some of the facilities housed by the mall include a coffee shop, wine shop, internet shop, Okavango delta photographic gallery, DHL and Postnet.

Officially opening the complex, Bethia commended the Penstone management for job creation and upliftment of Maun as a tourism destination through the investment. He noted that the investment is demonstrative of the basic principles of the nation - self-reliance and government initiative of poverty alleviation and economic development.
