TNMC appoints substantive MD

Moscow-based Norilsk Nickel Board of Directors chairman, Roman Panov last week appointed another Russian, Sergey Steshenko to a substantive managing director position after acting in the post for four and half months.

Panov is the director of international production assets department and also chairman of the boards of directors of Norilsk Nickel Australia and Africa.Tati Nickel Mining Company head of capability development, Nthato Mooki, announced to the mine staff this week that Steshenko's substantive appointment is effective May 16.
