Headed by managing director Jan Willemse it is a joint venture with the Botswana Development Corporation (BDC).
The project, among other things, is out to ensure sustainability of fresh food production, small-scale farmers' economic viability, job creation and the country's economic diversification. Management say they are determined to help Botswana reduce its dependence on imported potatoes. This year the farm planted 42 hectares of potatoes that are sold at half the price of South African imports.
