Surpassing one's own limits

From diamond polisher, Mothoeng has recently been appointed section supervisor for South African Diamond Corporation's prestige division Fancy Section.  She is the first Motswana to be appointed to such a supervisory post.  She particularly takes pride in this achievement for having emerged successfully as a woman in a male dominated industry.

 "It is quite an honour to be given this opportunity to be in charge.  I am so proud to represent Batswana, particularly women to show that we can do what expatriates are capable of doing and even more, showing our capability instead of always relying on expatriates," said Mothoeng.
