Subscriber home repair outfit launched

A company to help homeowners reduce the costs of home renovations, especially in Gaborone, has been launched.

Home Assist, which is managed by Joy Rankhudu, was announced on Friday as a solution to common homeowners' problems such as electrical faults, locksmith services, plumbing, drains, ceiling leaks, toilet flushing systems, leaking water taps and other nagging common problems that affect homeowners.

Rankhudu, who says she borrowed the idea from overseas, defines the new entrant in the market as one that will give homeowners, including those who rent out their houses to tenants, peace of mind because all their common problems can now be solved by making a phone call.
