The programme, which is the brainchild of Borolong Mouwane, is an entrepreneurial training programme and business incubator designed for students and aims at producing graduates who are capable of commercialising technologies, creating jobs and strengthening the economy.

Launching the programme last week, Mouwane explained that the it will inculcate an entrepreneurship culture in Botswana among students as future leaders. He stressed that by fulfilling this mission, the programme would contribute to job creation, and provide for enhanced economic growth. Mouwane further said the programme, which is expected to last two years, will work as a springboard that helps students in their future endeavours in seeking employment. He pointed out that nowadays, more companies want employees who have both degrees and business oriented skills and knowledge.
