Steel window maker aims at regional market

NKOYAPHIRI: A young entrepreneur from Mathangwane, Thabiso Nkao, is running a vibrant business-manufacturing window frames, doorframes, cardboard frames and sliding doors out of steel here.

In an interview with Mmegi, Nkao says he started his business two years ago without the financial assistance of any bank: "My products are very good and affordable."

He imports raw materials from South Africa, which are certified by the South African Bureau of Standard (SABS), and assembles them into finished products in this working class neighbourhood just outside Gaborone.
