Stanchart launches Diva Account for women

Officially launching the product, the board member for the bank Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba said the account was not about discriminating against men but to recognise that women have different buying behaviour.

She described a diva (a word derived from Latin meaning goddess) as a woman of rare, outstanding talent. "She is independent," Masire-Mwamba said to a round of applause. "Of course abundantly beautiful, both inside and out, is full of style and grace, and has extremely high standards for every aspect of her life."
