SPEDU embarks on infrastructure development

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Acting Chief Executive Officer of SPEDU Regional Development Agency, Pako Kedisitse, has announced that they are embarking on infrastructure developments in the region.

Kedisitse told Mmegi this week that  the infrastructural developments expected to take off in the region are varied. They include the construction of the Platjan Bridge, the tourism project at Letsibogo Dam, the refurbishment of Selebi-Phikwe airport and the installation of electricity along the Motloutse River.

He explained that Botswana and South Africa signed a Memorandum of Agreement last year. The project is expected to start when the Department of Roads has submitted the project memorandum to the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.
