Slow rate of inflation continues

The CSO February figures show that inflation fell by 0.2 percentage points from 7.4 percent reported in January to 7.2 percent.

Reuters quoted officials saying that the slowdown was largely due to a lower increase in school fees and beef prices, but warned that prices should rise on higher public service salaries in the months ahead.
