Rewinding firm receives SABS permit

FRANCISTOWN: A rewinding company in Francistown, Yorkdon Electrical, has attained a South Africa Bureau of Standards (SABS) product certification mark. Yorkdon Electrical Managing Director Philippe Rivet said that the recent audit and acquisition of the permit were significant achievements for his company.

"The company was recently audited and has attained SABS Product Certification Mark 1561-1, permit number 9423/14940.  This achievement is in line with our vision to offer our customers value for money with no comparison," he said.

Rivet further said that the company was initially registered in 1988 and was situated in Gaborone.  He says that he and his wife Nicole Rivet bought the company in 1992.
