FRANCISTOWN: Management of Tati Nickel Mining Company (TNMC), a 100% subsidiary of BCL Mine this week revealed that operations at Selkirk Mine will start early next year.

TNMC owns two mining leases at Selkirk and Phoenix Mine, which are situated 45 kilometres northeastern of Botswana.  Up to end of December, TNMC was only operating at Phoenix.

On Wednesday, the TNMC acting managing director (MD) Ditiro Lentswe expressed desire to see operations at Selkirk starting early next year with the mine expected to have a lifespan of 15 years.
