Residential tower for CBD

The much-anticipated southern steeple of the iTowers in the booming Central Business District (CBD) was launched on Thursday.

With the northern tower nearing completion and already a dominant structure in the city skyline, the southern tower is expected to be even more sophisticated. Unlike the first tower, which consists mainly of commercial space, the second tower will mainly consist of residential units, breaking a standing culture in Botswana of not having a mixture of residential and commercial places in one place. Spreading over 26 floors, the tower will be the tallest, multipurpose development in Botswana.

The residential units will comprise some studio apartments as well one, two and three bed roomed apartments.Purchasers will have the option to live and or work in their units or add them to the rental pool, thereby getting value for their money. There is also an option to purchase a fully serviced unit and decorate it as you want. The units in the second tower opened for sale last week with the cheapest unit priced at P815, 512 and the most expensive at P4, 180, 520. Potential buyers will be invited to tour the development site to get a taste of what the final units will look like. The developer, Tredinnick Botswana has sought support for the project from local retail banks to assist qualifying buyers with their purchase from the beginning to the end of the purchasing process.
