Regional integration key for diversification-AfDB

AfDB Executive Director representing Germany, Portugal and Switzerland, Professor Christoph Kohlmeyer, made the call at the end of a four-day tour to Botswana by a mission of directors from the continental financier.

Kohlmeyer said with her small population, Botswana would find it difficult to diversify her economy and it was therefore essential to involve other players from the region to help in purchasing some locally-produced goods, hence helping diversify the economy.
