PrimeTime to develop mall in Zambia

Property firm, PrimeTime says it has acquired a 1.024-hectare piece of land in Chirundu, Zambia where it intends to build a shopping centre.

In a statement, the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) listed company said the cost of the land plus construction of the 5,000 square metre retail shopping centre will be  $8.3 million (P89.2 million) in investment.

“This transaction is part of the execution of PrimeTime’s strategy to continue growing and diversifying the property portfolio in order to create long-term value and enhance the geographical and mix of properties,” the company stated.
