The Public Procurement and Assert Disposal Board (PPADB) has introduced a new system to improve efficiency and reduce administrative costs.

PPADB boss, Bridget John launched the Integrated Procurement Management System (IPMS) this week saying that it will vastly improve procurement and asset disposal.

The web based system forms part of the implementation of the 2008-2013 PPADB strategy. It is intended to automate PPADB operations and interface with other government departments providing services like issuing Omang, company registration among others. This will increase efficiency and reduce administrative overheads. John explained that the IPMS would enable clients to access PPADB services online and to improve transparency in public procurement and asset disposal.
