LOBATSE: Milk Afric chief executive officer (CEO), Phil Matibe says there is a delay on the part of the power authority in connecting supply at the multimillion Pula dairy farm.

“There are some delays caused by Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) in relation to connection of power to our farm, but we are following the processes in terms of application and processing times for connection of power,” Matibe told Mmegi Business following allegations that the said delays could affect progress erecting the facilities at the dairy farm. He, however, said there is marginal progress as they have already cleared the land, constructed the roads, drilled boreholes, surveyed, cleared the paddocks, parlour site and are constructing biosecurity facilities.

“The project has already started as indicated on the progress milestones,” he said.
