Let's just for a minute assume that job and career mean the same thing. So, you don't like your job, you are feeling stimulated, you have a nagging feeling of disillusionment, despite the fact that there is nothing actually wrong at work.

Your relationships with colleagues are fine, actually, supportive, and, you have been actively disappointed by your employer in any way, and yet you feel bored, distracted, and listless. At the risk of sounding ungrateful for the opportunities you've been given, you may even admit out loud to feeling dissatisfied and actually unhappy in your job. What is the typical reaction to this? Look for another job, and another one, until you develop a reputation.
