Ostrich abattoir to open soon

MSAB is a joint venture between Botswana Ostrich Farmers Association and other parties like Himal Investments and Quality Meat.

The facility will not be confined to the slaughter of ostriches. There are more than 4000 ostriches waiting to be slaughtered throughout the country currently. The Chairman of Botswana Ostrich Farmers Association, Jan Willemse, says MSAB aims to become one of the most efficient abattoirs in Botswana by delivering high quality service to the ostrich, beef and game meat industries in Botswana.
