New NBFIRA boss takes up office

The unscrupulous business practices associated with micro-lenders will soon come to an end, says the newly appointed CEO of the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA).

Canadian-born Robert Hobart says the first thing he will do is to develop rules for micro-lenders. Hobart was speaking in an interview with Business Week.
