New Banknotes Receive Mixed Reaction

The new notes include a P200 banknote, which has been introduced for the first time ever.
A self-employed Gaborone resident, Lemogang Tsholo, has welcomed the introduction of the new banknotes as a step in the right direction. "I do not have a problem with the money," she declares. Tsholo says the new banknotes have distinctive security features. In her view, it will not be easy for anybody to forge them. She says the banknotes also have special designs.
