Multi-billion Pula projects transform Palapye

PALAPYE: Several new projects worth billions of Pula are taking shape in the Palapye-Tswapong area, transforming the previously pastoral region into one of the country's most industrialised.

Besides ranking among the country's greatest investments, the Morupule B Power station, Lotsane dam project near Maunatlala, and Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) development, are powering an economic revolution in the Palapye area.

Enhancing the lives of communities, the economic boom in the area has helped create jobs for hundreds of youth saving them the hardships of unemployment and under-employment.
