MoU seen boosting Kenya and Botswana economies

Trade relations between Kenya and Botswana are expected to develop the economies of both countries through the Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening business relations that was signed this week.

Through the Kenya-Botswana business forum, Kenya was described as a country that has seen enviable success and growth in the services, agriculture, agri-business and manufacturing sectors, which Botswana can learn a lot from as is currently on a drive to develop the same sectors.

Speaking at the business forum this week, the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) Vincent Seretse said the forum is directed at driving Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) between the two countries.
