PALAPYE: The Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources, Ponatshego Kedikilwe, says there was impressive progress in the quality of work so far done in the construction of the P11 billion Morupule B project.

Speaking during his tour of the project over the weekend, Kedikilwe urged those in charge of the project to do their best to ensure quality. "It cannot be compromised," he said. "Batswana are expecting a quality project."

He said the precise purpose of the Morupule B plant was to ensure security and self-sufficiency of electricity supply. Kedikilwe applauded the project's public relations section for ably containing issues of industrial relations, saying unlike with other projects, there had so far been no reports of poor labour relations.
