Moroka Off For EPA Talks

Moroka is expected to chair the eighth SADC Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) involving Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland and Tanzania.
The main objective of the meeting is to prepare for the start of the negotiations between EPA and the European Union (EU) and give new directions to the SADC/EPA senior officials ahead of negotiations with their EU counterparts.
It is hoped the negotiations will culminate in an EPA deal between the SADC group and the European Commission (EC) by the end of this year. The EPA is intended to replace the Cotonou Agreement
 The minister and his entourage are expected to return the same day.
