Discovery Metals Limited has announced a further 46 percent increase in the copper resource at the company's wholly-owned Maun project in the NorthWest District, bringing the total resource in the project to 46.1 metric tonnes.

In an announcement to the Australian Stock Exchange where it is primarily listed, the company said the latest increase follows the definition of an inferred mineral resource of 14.5 metric tonnes at the Plutus Prospect within the project. This means that during 2007, total inferred mineral resources for the Maun Project have now been increased by 130 percent.

Discovery had to suspend its trading on the local bourse from Thursday last week, pending the announcement of the new drilling results. It only resumed trading on Monday this week.
