In an effort to advance car security and insurance, Minet Botswana Risk Management and Consulting has partnered with Ctrack, a leading car tracking company, to augment the car security of its clientele with a project named ‘Be Secure’.

During the launch of the partnership, Minet Botswana's chief executive, Gabriel Karidza, defined the moment as the right arsenal for their clientele. Karidza outlined that Minet received numerous complaints from their clients, which prompted them to come up with a solution that would take them a long way. “This partnership is for you. We have listened to you, your challenges, and your complaints as a number of you have been coming to us, especially on the vehicle portfolios you manage,” he said.

The CEO highlighted that the alliance between the two companies’ partnership will bridge the gap that both of their customers have bemoaned for some time. “The gap has been there, and now we have got Ctrack that has got data that will now help us on how best we can bridge the gap and the loss ratios. This is the reason why we are here today, bridging that gap and accessing data,” Karidza said. He further added that the alliance between Minet and Ctrack would put them in an advantageous position on how to best advise their clients and keep them safe. For his part, Paul Ankhoma, technical operations manager at Ctrack, complemented Minet’s perception of the partnership. “We want to revolutionise the cutting-edge technology that we have and our mission statement is very inclusive as we work with our clients to formulate a solution that is customer-focused, hence Minet Botswana,” Ankhoma said.
