Matsiloje Portland Cement makes P5.9m loss

FRANCISTOWN: Matsiloje Portland Cement (MPC), a 100 percent subsidiary of Nortex Textiles Limited, has recorded a P5.9 million loss since its inception July 2009.

"The firm has the capacity to produce nearly 100 tonnes of cement in a day but we produce only 60 tones a day since we began operations in 2009. This low production is the major reason we have been making losses," he said.
