Investment mission earmarks 10 US investors

The Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry, Duke Lefhoko, says at least 10 American potential investors have expressed interest in investing in Botswana after an investment promotion mission that he led in the US recently.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Lefhoko said the Americans expressed interest in areas like coal mining, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), pharmaceuticals, the manufacturing of standard and custom optics, PET bottles and glass, importing organic foods and in alternative sources of energy.
