Inspite of their constant harassment by callous council authorities, Francistown's informal sector is thriving, Mmegi Correspondent GALE NGAKANE finds out

FRANCISTOWN:Every morning, Mavis Ncube walks into town to start her day under the corridors of Chinese shops on Blue Jacket Street.

That has been her routine since 1999 when she was "chased away like a dog" from her job as a maid. She remembers the day as though it was yesterday.
