IHRM drives industry's self-regulation

The Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) held its fifth annual dinner dance in Gaborone with the drive towards self-regulation in the industry key on the agenda.

The IHRM is a human resource fraternity of professionals seeking growth and fulfillment in the human resource profession. The institute exists to support and enhance HR as a critical business function within Botswana's corporate domain. Its main mandate is to inculcate a culture of ethical conduct to enhance the human resource profession.

IHRM uses the proceeds from the annual dinner dance to sponsor its programmes. "A lot of programmes are in the pipe line for the local profession.
