High-grade uranium discovered in Serule

Prospects of Botswana's first uranium mine are rising following the discovery of more uranium deposits in parts of the Central District.

BSE-listed A-Cap Resources, which has a prospecting licence covering 4, 500 square kilometres in the area, has announced the discovery of new uranium deposits in Serule near Palapye.

Uranium is currently in huge demand the world over due to its alternative use as a source of energy and in nuclear technology.
