Hard water delays Kgalagadi road project

Construction of Tsabong-Middlepits Road is expected to commence in January 2008, the Ministry of Works and Transport has announced.

The new all-weather road will be 99.17 kilometres long and will include 0.583 km of access roads to village kgotlas along the main road in accordance with the Access Roads Policy.

The contractor, Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) of Kuwait, has started to mobilise for the project following their acceptance of a tender award by Government on October 15, 2007.
