Hana's Gantsi project 'the biggest' in Africa

Hana Mining has found more copper-silver resources at its highly prospective Ghantsi project, the company announced last week.

Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday, Hana Chairman and CEO, Marek Kreczmer, said recently completed resource estimates showed an increase in copper resources of 43 percent and an increase of 97 percent in contained silver resources.

Kreczmer said the increased resource estimates would form a basis of the company's Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), which should be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2011.
