Gaborone Hosts AFREXIM Event

Botswana is this year's venue for the African Export-Import (AFREXIM) Bank exhibition scheduled for June 30th to July 4th.

Addressing the media yesterday, Assistant Minister of Finance and Development Planning Keletso Rakhudu said that Botswana would thereafter be the chair of the Bank for a year.  "Botswana is a shareholder in AFREXIM Bank and as the host, she will take over the Chairmanship of the Bank for a year".

Rakhudu said that an AGM will be preceded by a colloquium and an exhibition where the international business community will discuss trade and financial sector issues.The exhibition will be held at Gaborone International Convention Centre, (GICC).
