G4S thrives in the midst of hostile conditions

Buoyed by a massive contribution to revenue and profit growth by Filotto Falco Security to its interim results, BSE-listed security services group, G4S Botswana, says it will look into market for more acquisitions.

Filotto Faloca, which was bought out by G4S on 1st August 2008, accounted for 16.4 percent of the group's P66 million total revenue growth for the six months ended 30 June 2009.

"We are targeting viable businesses out there, some of which we are already in negotiations with," the managing director of G4S Botswana, Percy Raditladi, said at the results briefing on Wednesday.
