G4S Limited says while the Competition Authority's decision to block its acquisition of Shield Security was "deeply disappointing," it will not seek recourse at the High Court and will, instead, focus on other opportunities in the local market.

Speaking for the first time since the saga broke out in May, G4S Limited managing director, Moraki Mokgosana insisted that the Botswana Stock Exchange-listed company had done no wrong in attempting to acquire Shield Security.
