FRANCISTOWN: For Gadzanani Kind Makopola, going to India was such an eye-opener that it places Botswana in the Stone Age.

It was only a week's trip to the land of Mahatma Gandhi last month (from 8 to 12 March), but the Managing Director of Gigatech Botswana says what he learned there has left a lasting impression on him.

India Soft, as the IT conference young Makopola attended in Jaipur was called, attracted IT specialists from other African countries. He was sponsored by the Indian government.
