Fleming Asset Management says it will continue with the development of the Hilton Hotel despite cutting ties with the Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF). Fleming property analyst, Unangoni Monamati said the project is on track and will be completed on time as construction resumed in February.

“We have contracted a citizen-owned company named Group Five as the main contractor and have other 12 domestic sub-contractors in which nine of them are citizen-owned while three are Botswana based companies owned by foreigners,” she said.

According to BPOPF chief executive officer, Boitumelo Molefe despite cutting all ties with Flemming, they have decided to let them continue with the construction of the Hilton Hotel.
