First Botswana Economic Forum Next Winter

Botswana will hold the country's first economic forum at the Gaborone International Convention Centre next winter, sponsors of the conference Capital Conferences said on Friday.

The conference will be aimed at raising the flow of foreign direct investment (FDI),
According to the head of Client Services at Capital Securities, Leutlwetse Tumelo, the Botswana Economic Forum will be held on June 11. It will draw senior executives of international and regional companies who will investigate the possibility of establishing substantial subsidiaries in Botswana.

"The conference timetable has been developed to allow delegates an excellent overview of Botswana's economic, political and social environment, allowing them to make informed decisions on inward investment into the country", says Tumelo in a statement.
